Case-1: BTPL Pumps as Booster Pumps for

RRKPL Pumping
In case FR bypassed to RKPL is greater than 440 cu.
m/hr., BTPL Pumps will act as a bottleneck.
In case FR bypassed to RKPL is around 400-440 cu.
m/hr., BTPL Pumps will aid in reducing RMDS discharge
pressure by 10-15 kg/sq. cm. In such case, FR ex
RMDS can reach up to 800 cu. m/hr. (approx. gain of
50 cu. m/hr.).

Case-2: BTPL Pumps are used for

pumping in RKPL ex BRS
RMDS to BRS can achieve the maximum FR of 800 cu.
m/hr.

FR ex BRS to RKPL can be 400-440 cu. m/hr.

Minimum 3 tanks will be blocked (one each for RBPL,

one for RKPL and the third for Bahadurgarh terminal).

Additional Information Required

Pump Performance Curves are provided for 2400 rpm.
Pump Performance Curves for 3000 rpm are required.
Differential Pressure is assumed as Total Discharge
Pressure (as Maximum Discharge Pressure is not
mentioned in the Data Sheet).
Mechanical Seal is designed for a pressure of 51 kg/sq.
cm. Hence, this does not pose any constraint.
The above additional information will help in
exploring scope for further flow enhancement.
