Community structure

Community structure is a concept that is

studying the arrangement or composition of
species and their abundance in a community.
Community structure can be divided into
physical structures and biological structures.
Some characteristics of community structure
is usually used as guidance is their degree of
ecological instability include : uniformity,
dominance, diversity, and abundance
(Krebs, 1997).

1) The physical structure of a community when the community

seemed observed. The physical structure of a community can include
vertical stratification and horizontal heterogeneity.

2) Biological structures are matters concerning the species

composition, abundance of individuals of each species, temporal
changes in the community, and interactions between species
within the community.
a) Domination species,
b) Species diversity. There are two ways to determine the index number that
is using Simpson diversity index (D) or with Shanon- Wiener diversity
index (H ').
D = S - 1 / ln N
Where,
D = diversity index
S = number of species
N = totaljumlahorganisme
H = - pi ln pi
Where,
Pi = opportunities of interest for each species (ni / N)
c) The abundance of species.

1) Netralisme is interleaved relationship between organisms
in the same habitat that is not beneficial and not detrimental
to both parties.

and predator

3) Mutualism is also called symbiosis is the

interaction obligatori (mandatory) that is required
by both parties that interact as both need each other

4) Comensalism is a relationship between two

organisms of different plant species in the form of
life together to share food resources; one species
benefits and the other species are not harmed

5) Parasitism is a relationship between organisms

of different species, when a living organism to
other organisms and taking food from the host
that is detrimental.

b) Interaction Between Populations

1) Alelopati an interaction
between populations, when the
population of the produce
substances that can inhibit the
growth of other populations
2) The competition is
competitive interaction
between individual plants with
individuals of other plants in
the use of natural resources
and fulfillment. The
competition divided into :
a) Intraspecific competition
b) Interspecific competition
