Multi-vendor GSM-R integration results

Huawei BSS system was successfully integrated to TCDDs GS


M-R Core Network.

The final test report was issued 30th April 2013 and ratified in
May 2013

Press Release : The completion of the multivendor GSM-R integrat

ion is an important project milestone for the Eskisehir-Alayunt-Kuta


hya-Balikesir (EKB) European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTM
S) Line. Stringent GSM-R specifications and equipment guidelines
enable railways globally to setup multivendor systems such as the o
ne now fully integrated for the EKB High Speed line with a total lengt
h of 464 km.

With the integration completed TCDD takes benefits of an open,


feature-rich and competitive GSM-R multivendor market.
