Emotional Intelligence
Definition
The ability to monitor ones own and others
feelings and emotions, to discriminate among them,
and to use the information to guide ones thinking
and action (Mayer & Salovey, 1993).
Emotional Intelligence refers to the capacity for
recognizing our own feelings and those of others, for
motivating ourselves, and for managing emotions
well in ourselves and our relationships (Daniel
Goleman, 1998)

Importance of EI
