History
June 6 , 1936 Dallas Museum of Natural History was opened to the public.
September 20, 1946 Renamed to The Dallas Health Museum.
1981- Renamed to the Science Place .
June 1st , 2014- the Perot Museum of Nature and Science welcomed a new CEO
December 1, 2012- The museum was relocated

Entry of Museum
The Perot Musuem has 6 floors.
It holds 11 permanent exhibit
halls.
The elevator shown below takes
you to the next floor.

Expanding Universe Hall


This was the first exhibit we
walked into
It shows the moon phases and
how we see colors through
light
Astronaut is in the lower right
corner

T. Boone Pickens Life Then and Now Hall


Second hall we walked into
In this exhibit hall we saw many fossils
like the Tyrannosaurus rex and the
plant- eating Alamosaurus.
In the lower left corner you can see how
the dinosaurs traveled and extended all
over the world.

Rose Hall of Birds


In this exhibit hall we
saw birds of all kinds
All birds have different
flight patterns
We know all birds fly
and eat but the sound
they make that helps us
identify each one of
them

Being Human Hall


This hall has many things that help you
understand the human anatomy and
physiology
The lower right corner shows a picture of a
strong beam of light to reveal the intricate
network of blood vessels beneath the skin.
The picture next to that one is a thermal
camera the identifies the hot and cool points
of your body

In this exhibit hall we found out
how genetic traits are randomly
passed down and what future
generations of animals will look like

This exhibit hall is mostly about weather and
there are many objects like the ones below
You can also experiment what an earthquake
feels like
