History
Enrique Iglesias was born in Madrid, Spain in the year of 1975. He
moved to from Madrid to Miami because his grandfather was
kidnapped, so he went to live with his father, who was a famous
Spanish singer (Julio Iglesias).
In his High school years, Iglesias began to follow in his fathers
footsteps and wrote different productions in which he preformed in
small restaurants with his friends.
In 1995, he released his first independent CD which went gold in
Portugal and ended up selling 6 million copies worldwide.
Nonetheless, he also produced hit song Bailamos which ended up
earning him negotiations with Interscope records.

Ownership
Iglesias, like many other artists, has signed with multiple record
labels throughout his musical career. All of the labels he has
signed for include Fonovisa, Universal, Interscope, Republic, Sony,
and RCA.
He released popular album Vivir under Mexican Record label
Fonovisa. The album sold 500,000 copies within the first week,
which was unexpected, and this was a transition into English
music for Iglesias.
From 1999-2001, he earned a contract with Interscope Records
and released album Escape. This album included a highly
anticipated duet with famous singer/song writer Whitney Houston.

Productions
Enrique Iglesias is very successful in regards to albums produced
as many of them have reached top in billboards and have been
international hits. Since beginning his musical career, Iglesias has
produced 10 studio albums, 6 compilation albums, 76 music
videos, and 72 singles.
Most artists usually have an album that excels above the others;
however, Iglesias has multiple fan favorites. Two notable ones that
have been released in recent years are, Euphoria (2010) and Sex
and Love (2014).
Currently, his most popular production is Bailando; it was made in
2014 and already has over 1 billion views on YouTube.

Distribution
Since Iglesias originated from Spain and his father was famous,
his music is very popular globally. He is so popular
internationally that he is regarded as The King of Latin Pop.
Nevertheless, he has made charts and billboards in Australia,
Belgium, Denmark, Holland, Finland, Greece, France, Ireland,
Norway, Portugal, Norway, Switzerland, and the United States.
Some of his achievements are receiving double platinum in
Ireland and United Kingdom, Platinum in Europe, and gold in
France. Even though Iglesias spent a majority of his life in the
United States, he is more widely know globally because of the
Spanish background.

Marketing
Most marketing done for Iglesias is through televised and
interment advertising. He has appeared on multiple commercials,
including one done by Verizon to promote data plans, and on
different talk shows such as the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Furthermore, Iglesias is also partnered with Vevo and is verified
which means more advertising and publicity through platforms
such as YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter. His hit song, Bailando, is
on YouTube through Vevo and has over 1 billion views, making it
one of the most viewed videos on YouTube.

Exchange
From 20132014, he has earned a sum of about $9 million dollars.
Approximately $480,000 of this came from sales of his album,
Sex and Love, in 2014. In 2015, he earned a spot in People with
Moneys annual list of the highest paid singers, and his current net
worth is estimated to be $85 million dollars.
Additionally, he recently did a tour with Jennifer Lopez, the Dance
Again World Tour, which earned a total of $52,600,000 in ticket
sales.
