Are Smartphones
destructive for teenagers?
Students are not aware of the consequences that smartphone usage has on
them.
1. Obesity
Smartphone users just might be the new coach potatoes (Grey 2013, 1)
Young people use smartphones while they are performing other activities
2. Sleeplessness
Most of the teenagers use their phones for more than half hour before they go
to sleep.
Smartphones omit a blue light which affects the brain of the consumer.
3. Sight Problems
Distance from the screen is actually only of the factors that damage vision.
4. Addiction
Variety of Applications
Students check their phones approximately 11 times a day while they are in
class (Yoon-ji 2015, 1).
The more teens are boosted to use smartphones the more our society is
derogated.
6. Fake Merits
7. Relationships
Smartphones are causing us to tune out the world and interact less with
each other (Matteson 2014, 1) .
Some teens tend to use their phones even when they are socializing with
other people.
Every user will have only "fake friends" online and no true relationships with
others (Yoon-ji 2015, 1).
8. Wipe Smartphones???
There are apps that can help them improve their knowledge and do better at
school.
Conclusions
If smartphones are not used properly they are destructive for teens and
students
