The Life of The Messenger

of Allah
Muhammad
a merchant from Mecca, introduced a major
world religion called Islam. He became a
prophet and introduced Islam in Arabia.
Muslims believe that God spoke to Muhammad
through angel Gabriel to recite Gods word.
The messages he received were the basis for
Islam( the law of Islam) and were collected in the
holy book of Islam called the Quran.
Muslims generally practiced tolerance, or
acceptance, with regard to others.

The Life Messenger of Allah

Islam spread from Mecca to Medina.
Rulers of Mecca began to threaten Muhammad
and his followers with violence as Islam started
to influence more people.
Muhammad left Mecca and went to Medina.
This departure became known in Muslim history
as the hejira (hijrah), or journey.
Arabs tribes accept his teaching and Mecca
finally welcomed Muhammad back to the city
and accepted Islam as its religion.

Al-Quran
Alquran adalah kitab suci umat islam
yang diturunkan oleh tuhan kepada
nabi muhammad,dimana didalamnya
terdapat surat-surat yang merupakan
pedoman umat islam untuk menjalani
kehidupan.

The Ethical Dimension

Hukum dalam islam disebut dengan saria.
Orang islam memiliki 2 landasan hukum
dan menjadikannya sebagai pedoman:
Al-quran: alquran merupakan sumber
hukum di dalam islam,karena di dalam
alquran mengandung segala bentuk saria
Hadith : hadis adalah sumber hukum islam
kedua selain al-quran. Hadish merupakan
segala perkataan,perbuatan,ketetapan dan
persetujuan dari nabi muhammad

Shadah
Declaration of Faith
Daily Prayer (shalah)
5 times a day
Charity
Giving help to the poor

Fasting-Ramadan
Hajj

Experiental Dimension
Is about the prophets own vision of
the power of Allah that is not early
can be seen in quran but also in the
community sense. Which is about the
tremendous nature of God.

The doctrinal dimension

Its mean: Tiada tuhan selain allah dan nabi

The Narrative Dimension

As to the narrative dimension,the
islamic story implies chain of prophets
and indeed from Adam and down to
Muhammad.And from the history of
the prophets,we know that allah is
grace and mercy.

The Social and institutional

dimension
After Prophet of Islam, Muhammad Pass away,
there is no successor, and Muhammad didnt say
anything about it. So, people choose Abu Bakr,
(Muhammads follower and friend) became the
first caliph, the title that Muslims use for the
highest leader of Islam. It became the beginning
of Islam as a state and institutional.
Caliphs were not religious leaders, but political
and military leaders.
Abu Bakr directed a series of battles against Arab
tribes who did not follow Muhammads teachings.

The Social and institutional

dimension
Islam under his leadership expanded
to Persia, North Africa and Spain.
Thorough trade, Arab merchants took
Islamic beliefs to new lands.
Islam spread to India, Africa,
Malaysia, and Indonesia.

The Material Dimension
