At the end of the orientation, the participants should
be able to:
1. Identify the 3 Phases of SIP development and their
sub-activities.
2. Explain the key features of the enhanced SIP, SRC
and District Synthesis
3. Articulate critical issues and concerns on the
enhanced SIP-SRC Policy and Handbook
4. Write a SIP-SRC Advocacy and Preimplementation Plan

The School Improvement Plan


A road map that lays down specific solutions that
a school, with the help of the community, will
undertake within a period of 3 consecutive school
years.
Aims to improve key result areas in basic
education such as access, quality, and
governance.
It is evidence-based, results-based, and child or
learner-centered.
It is central in SBM and is the basis for the AIP.

Guiding Principles
Anchored on the DepEd vision, mission, core
values, strategies, and on Regional, Division, and
school goals
It shall be evidence and results-based, child and
learner-centered
The formulation and implementation of the SIP
shall involve the active participation of all
education stakeholders in the school and
community such as the school heads, teachers,
parents, community leaders, and the children
themselves, among others
