Campus Activities at NCAT

Campus activities at NCAT is focused on the students and

they allow us to get more involved and offer great
opportunities and experiences whether its social or
educational.

Being engaged in and out of the classroom helps you better

enjoy your college experience and grow as an individual.

Activities on campus also encourages students here at A&T

to learn, develop, and become aware of certain things.

Purpose of this Study

The purpose of this study is to get feedback from

students about ways we could improve campus
activities and engagement. The goal is to get more
students active in school spirit.

Campus activities can help individuals meet new

people, develop leadership skills, make a difference
on campus, build major connections and most
importantly HAVE FUN!

Problem Statement

Although we do have college activities, we don't have

enough. When we do have them they are short and
somewhat fun. Campus activities are not reaching the
full potential. Our university needs more engaging and
appealing campus activities to improve our colleges
success and experience.

Survey

Here is a six question survey we made with simple yes or no

answers that was given to your fellow Aggies here at NCAT.

1. Would you be interested in seasonal events?

2. Would you prefer more campus activities on the weekend?
3. Would you be interested in events just for your graduating class?
4. Would you like to have an annual trip for your graduating class?
5. On a scale from 1-10 rate NCAT campus activities.
6. Do you want more activities involving residence halls or campus
wide?

1st:

The mindset of students. For your school

to have successful events and that mean
something to them, you have to have good
school spirit.

is proven that school spirit helps to

develop and foster relationships amongst
people.

Recommendations (Solutions)

Activity fairs ( Campus Wide )

I.

Announce ahead of time events that will be taking place

II.

Showcase what the event will be like and if people are

interested (Pre-turnup before the turn-up. Example: Block
party)

III.

Give valid information on when and where the activities

will be and limitations.

Hall surveying : to have more appealing events, you must

seek the opinions of everyone in the building.
