EVALUATION

MBBS study consists of 4 years of study and


one year of rotational internship.
University exams take place at the end of 2nd
semester, 4th semester, 7th semester and 9th
semester.
Internal exams take place regularly
throughout the course.
Integrated medical education and evaluation
in I & II MBBS.

UNIVERSITY EXAMINATION
Eligibility Criteria to appear in University
Examinations:
Minimum 80% of attendance in Practical and
Theory classes separately
Must secure minimum of 50% marks in Theory
and Practical Internal Assessments separately

INTERNAL ASSESSMENT
Internal Assessment shall have two
components:
Continuous Assessment (Chapter completion
tests, Practical works, Project works etc.):
10%

Sessional Examination (Semester exams,


Pre-university exams): 10%

UNIVERSITY EXAMINATION
Theory Exams:
MCQs: 30 marks (OMR answer sheet)
SAQs: 30 marks
Total 80 marks
PBQs: 20 marks
Practical Exams:
Practical work/Spotting: 50, OSCE: 10, Viva
Voce: 10 (Total 70)
Log Book: 10 (Diagrams, Academic activities,
PBL, Seminars)
Total 80 marks

MUST KNOW

No students are permitted to join Clinical


Sciences (5 Semester) until s/he has passed
all theory and practical subjects of
preclinical sciences.
Students must complete all theory and
practical papers of I & II MBBS within 4 &
years from the date of admission.
All requirements of MBBS program have to be
completed within TEN YEARS from the date
of admission.
