Objective
To be able to establish a formal
organizational structure, to clarify the role of
the members of the organization, and to
eliminate buck-passing.

Statement of the Problem


The problem is the absence of order,
responsibilities and job description that may
result to the failure of the firm.

SWOT ANALYSIS

Strengths
The Firm is earning
Favorable Location
Good planning will result due to shared skills,
efforts and experiences of the managers.
The firm holds the principle Span of Control

Weaknesses

Does not have a formal structure


Buck-passing of work that hinders operations
Absence of unity of command and unity of direction
Conflicts and agreements may easily arise
Workers are not performing beyond customers
expectation
Lack of effective policies and programs in guiding
action of each subordinate.

Opportunites

Increase the market of the firm


New probable investors
Enable business expansion
Promulgate new policies for the firm
Recruit professional workers

Threats
Unfinished work that affects the operation of
the firm
Incompetent workers that can put the firm on
risk
Presence of stronger competitors
Problems of the two managers that can hold
back transactions and operations.

Trainings, Seminars, and Conferences.
Advantage
- It will enhance their capabilities and talents that will
resolve their incapability of doing work
systematically.

Disadvantage
- It will be expensive and time consuming for the
owners.

Alternative Courses of Action No.2


Resolve the two managers attitude and have
them focus on their workers.
Advantage
- Putting two managers dispute to an end will result for the
firm to be a formal organization, sharing and having a
common purpose.

Disadvantage
- It cannot be avoided that the two managers will make
conflicting decisions because of different ideas and
opinions thus result to confusion.

Re-establish the company and promulgate
new and effective policies and principles.
Advantage
- The firm will be in order with owners having the right
authority and employees having guidelines to follow.

Disadvantage
- Re-establishing and promulgating policies and principles
may took a long time to be implemented.

Recommendation
We therefore conclude that the best solution to
the problem is Alternative Course No.3 which is
to re-establish the company and promulgate
new and effective policies and principles
because by re-establishing the company, there
will be a chain of command among the
executive department, which in turn will
benefit the employees because they will now
know whose hands are responsible for
decision-making and to whom they should
address their concerns regarding of their work.

I.

Have or hire someone who knows a lot about


the business organization.

II. Appoint the member to the job that they


specialized.
III.

Formulate new plans and policies and set


the objectives. Then implement the plans.
