while the material becomes more complex

Content

In this curriculum students explore and explain natural phenomenon in

the world, participate in self-discovery, identify research using the
scientific method, and participate in scientific dialogue

Each grade targets three different categories of science; (1) Earth and
Space Science, (2) Physical Science, and (3) Life Science.

Focus on scientific inquiry

Assessment

Below every grade standard there is a content elaboration page that is based
off of Ohios cognitive demands.

These pages give insight to teachers to then plan their own accumulative
assessments, being based off of the demands.

The curriculum also offers additional formative assessment resources from

the National Science Teacher Association.

Critique

effective lessons

Graphic organizers and other visual media representations clearly define

important teacher strategies

The correlation design and overlap of the content actives and build upon
