COMOS CAR
One of the green transport during International Greentech and Eco
Products Exhibition and Conference Malaysia (iGEM) is Cohesive Mobility
Solution (COMOS) which is an alternative mode of transportation
providing convenience and enabling the last mile solution to current
public transportation infrastructure. COMOS is a car sharing service using
EV fleet (electric cars and bikes) integrated with EVSE (charging station)
and parking reservation and management system as well as user mobile
apps, allowing users to pick up or drop their EVs at any designated green
parking bays within the city.
COMOS's primary objective is to provide smart connectivity and
mobility solution that promotes sustainable green environment, and
addresses the government's current agenda in reducing the CO2
emission, reducing the nation's fuel consumption thus reducing fuel
subsidy and to encourage the use of public transport hence reducing city
traffic congestion, by promoting a new lifestyle of using alternative mode
of transportation through rental and car-sharing concept.

COMOS CAR
The COMOSs program was launched with the
Malaysian Automotive Institute (MAI)

collaboration of

with Malaysian Green Technology

Corporation (GreenTech) and CMS Consortium, the COMOS Program

comprises of an EV fleet of cars and motorcycles available for urban
commuters to move between the MRT Stations and office buildings,
hotels, or shopping complexes. Charging stations will be available at both
locations set-up by both the COMOS Service Provider and the building
owners.

COMOS network is open through annual

membership and mobility-on-demand methods.

COMOS CAR
GreenTech plays an active role to raise public awareness towards
green technology. COMOS is one of the initiative that introduce a better
public transport services which provide the last mile connectivity to the
urban LRT and MRT network. This initiative will encourage Malaysian to
use public transport and enable them to move easily around the city. This
is an effort to reduce private cars on the roads, expected less 7,000
vehicle entering in the city and hence less traffic. Therefore, it can reduce
CO2 emissions by 74%. Its also using clean and quiet vehicles. On top of
that, its increase the flexibility of the public transport offered in a city,
which increase utilization of public transport up to 25,000 users in 5
years. Public can save by sharing the costs of car ownership. As well as
introduce towards a healthy lifestyle.
The company also promote the COMOS by doing the UniRIDE car
sharing program for Universities in Malaysia, which focuses on introducing
energy efficient vehicles to contribute a greener Malaysia in the future.
This initiative is designed solely with the main concern of providing hassle
free transportation to achieve better accessibility for Universities student
and staff within the vicinity of the campus. For now, the UniRIDE program
had in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam and Universiti Malaya
(UM).

COMOS CAR
Tiny two-seater zero-emissions electric vehicle It measures in at just 2.34
m long, and 1.23 m wide. Its claimed to be able to achieve a total range
of 100 km on the NEDC cycle. This 474 kg quadricycles 6.1 kW lithiumion battery will charge from flat to 80% in a matter of 3.5 hours, through a
standard 240 V three pin plug. Power-wise, theres a small electric motor
thats mated to a one-speed automatic transmission. It offers 17 hp and
57 Nm of torque, and runs from zero to 45 km/h in just 6.1 seconds, and
from 30 to 60 km/h in 8.1 seconds.

ELECTRIC BUS
There are numerous innovation around the world as initiative to save our
mother earth. One of the technologies innovation is through Public
transportation. In IGEM 2016, Sync R&D Sdn Bhd, has successfully
delivered praise-worthy project work in design and fabrication of Elektrik
Bas Inovasi Malaysia(EBIM). This electric buses are powered solely by
batteries not same as other hybrid buses; which are powered both by
batteries and either petrol or diesel engine that is activated after the bus
has gone a certain distance. The technology take serious concerns on
poor air quality and degradation of natural resources around the worlds
major cities today that caused by existing diesel-powered buses.

The unique feature of EBIM have several advantages for operators, public
or even environment.

Operators

Do not have to dole out for diesel since this bus using electric energy
which actually costs 60% less for the same distance, offsetting the
initial cost of an electric bus with significantly lower operational costs
and energy efficiency.

ELECTRIC BUS
Public

Great cost-saving features with implementation of regenerative

braking as every time the bus brakes, they can reuse the friction
and turn it into energy to charge the battery.

Electric buses also have lower, more stable operational costs in the
long run, as they dont need to rely on the fluctuating prices of fuel.

Composite Monocoque Body

Built with added safety features

allowing it to absorb impact better, keeping the public out of harms

way in case of an accident.
Environme
nt
Cut up to 25 tonnes of CO2 emission every year if it replaces a

diesel bus. That means cleaner air for the whole city.

The electric engine is almost noiseless, and will help reduce noise
pollution in busy urban areas as well as make the ride a calmer
one.

VOLTRON BICYCL
It is Malaysias first Green Energy Pedal Assisted Bicycle or EPAB that fully
complies with Malaysia SIRIM Standard MS 2514 2012 P with a
safety certificate issued by SIRIM QAS International. It was crafted with
creative thinking and assisted by electric power and

it is the joy and

pride of the Malaysian industry in bicycle technology. Besides, it was

designed and manufactured in Malaysia which is EPAB, aVoltron
Malaysia production, named as Voltron Electric Pedal Assisted Bicycle, or
called

as

Voltron bicycle in short. It is the first green energy pedal

assisted bicycle to be certified by Sirim QAS International. This product

had satisfied every environmental requirement and achieved a high
practical value in satisfying diverse user needs. Besides conforming to
MALAYSIA SIRIM STANDARD MS 2514: 2012 (P), the Voltron bicycle also
conforms to European Standard EN 15194.
