Danger of the Future

BY: REYNA GARCIA

What are human rights and who is a part of

it?
Human Rights are rights that every human has
including political, cultural and economic rights.
Any person/ human being is known to have human
rights including women, men, and children

What are examples of human rights?

Freedom of Speech
No discrimination
Right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness
Freedom of religion
Right of Equality

History:
Martin Luther King Jr. was a civil rights leader known
for fighting for equality for African Americans. He
believed everyone should be treated the same
therefore he did non-violent protests.
Rosa Parks is another civil rights activist who refused
to give up her seat to a white person. She believed in
fair treatment and that she should have the same
rights as others.

What have I learned in geography that

relates to this topic?
As a whole citizens of
the U.S are blessed with
the ability to vote for
their representatives. It
may not always be the
outcome you want but at
least everyone has a

Usually discriminated in the work force because they are
Women seen as uneducated, weak, and vulnerable
Men in general are seen as powerful, professional and
smart people. Their ideas are taken into consideration more
Men often that that of a women.
Children are seen as too young and immature therefore
Childre they are sometimes not even taken into consideration

How will my future career affect this issue?

Pediatrician:
I

can help by showing children that they

are important through motivation and
encouragement

Using

my childrens skill, I can also help

counsel children I order to guide them on
the path of equality and rights for all

can also get the parents and children to

spread the word of equality to help the
possible damage done

What is our future for 2050?

My prediction:
With the election of Donald Trump in
2016
Many world leaders see the ways of
Trump and start discriminating
against their people during the next
8 years
This causes a backwards spiral of
once made progress about 100
years back.
In the following years, future world
leaders find it hard to make
progress again.
With Human Rights diminishing
slowly, activists scramble to get
back what once belonged to the
