1a. Customs Query

Kuenhe + Nagels feedback about Customs Query in Perth:

NO PERMIT is required to import this quicklime into Australia.

Quicklime is free of any customs prohibitions and of minimal concern.

Goods are also duty free but will attract a GST of 10% x (Customs value
+ freight/insurance).

A MANUFACTURERS DECLARATION is required and must be included

on suppliers letterhead, state container number, state goods and
quantity of packages, state goods are new, clean and free of quarantine
risk and biosecurity risk material and must be signed and dated.

Confirmation of delivery postcode must be provided.

1b. Bulk in Container Trial

To improve safety during cargo discharging, opt for Single Off-Centre

Discharge tube (with left side container door closed during discharging).

For easy removal of built-up material behind the door while tilted, fluidizing
pipe and inflatable airbag to be installed at both sides of container end.

Container liner installation time 15-20min per container. Installation time to

be recorded during trial. That includes manpower required for the task.

Detailed design of container liner to be finalized.

Container liner installation will be carried out by Caretex crew. Installation

time to be recorded.

QUBE/CRT to carry out container clearance and inland transportation.

CRT to provide transportation cost for delivery to various destinations:

Perth, Kalgoorlie, Leonora, etc.

Arrangement of POD trailer for 4 + 2 containers with liner.

Arrangement of tipping trailer for 2 containers without liner.

1b. Bulk in Container Trial

Cargo unloading to be done at CRT Perth warehouse or designated location

appointed by Lhoist.

For 0-1mm, 1x for cargo transfer container-to-container. Elevated platform to

simulate silo height. (30m??)
