A NEW CREATURE

17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creature; the old

new things have come.

Earthly Provisions

Matthew 6:31-33
31 Do not worry then, saying, What
will we eat? or What will we drink?
or What will we wear for clothing?
32 For the Gentiles eagerly seek all
these things; for your heavenly
Father knows that you need all these
things.
33 But seek first His kingdom and His
righteousness, and all these things
will be added to you.
SPIRITUAL PROTECTION

John 10:27-28
27 My sheep hear My Voice, and I
know them, and they follow Me;
28 and I give eternal life to them, and
they will never perish; and no one
will snatch them out of My hand.
HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE

Romans 8:24-25
24 For in hope we have been
saved, but hope that is seen is
not hope; for who hopes for what
he already sees?
25 But if we hope for what we do
not see, with perseverance we
wait eagerly for it.

We Can Fall from Grace by
Turning from the Gospel

Galatians 5:3-4
4 You have been
severed from Christ,
you who are seeking to
be justified by law;
you have fallen from
grace.
We Can Fall by Allowing Sin to
Harden Our Hearts
Hebrews 3:12-14
12 Take care, brethren, that there not
be in any one of you an evil,
unbelieving heart that falls away from
the living God.
13 But encourage one another day
after day, as long as it is still called
Today, so that none of you will be
hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14 For we have become partakers of
Christ, if we hold fast the
beginning of our assurance firm until
the end,
We Can Fall by Entanglement with
the World
2 Peter 2:20-21
20 For if, after they have escaped the
defilements of the world by the
knowledge of the Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ, they are again
entangled in them and are
overcome, the last state has become
worse for them than the first.
21 For it would be better for them
not to have known the way of
righteousness, than having known it,
to turn away from the holy
commandment handed on to
them.
We Can Fall If We Fail to
Discipline Our Thoughts and
Actions

1 Corinthians 9:27
27 but I discipline my body and
make it my slave, so that, after I
have preached to others, I myself
will not be disqualified.
WE MUST CONCLUDE
FROM THE SCRIPTURES
THAT ONCE SAVED,
ALWAYS SAVED IS A
FALSE DOCTRINE, AND
MUST BE REJECTED.

Purity of Life
PURITY OF LIFE

1 John 3:2-3
2 Beloved, now we are children of God,
and it has not appeared as yet what
we will be. We know that when He
appears, we will be like Him, because
we will see Him just as He is.
3 And everyone who has this hope
fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He
is pure.
Colossians 3:4-9
4 When Christ, who is our life, is
revealed, then you also will be revealed
with Him in glory.
5 Therefore consider the members of
your earthly body as dead to immorality,
impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed,
which amounts to idolatry.
6 For it is because of these things that
the wrath of God will come upon the sons
of disobedience,
7 and in them you also once walked,
when you were living in them.
8 But now you also, put them all
aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander,
and abusive speech from your mouth.
9 Do not lie to one another, since you
laid aside the old self with its evil
practices,

Growth in Christ
2 Peter 3:18
18 but grow in the grace and
knowledge of our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory,
both now and to the day of eternity.

This growth comes through:

Study of the word of the Lord
(The Lord talking to us)
Calling on Him in prayer
(We talk to God)
STUDY

1 Peter 2:2
2 like newborn babies, long for the
pure milk of the word, so that by it
you may grow in respect to
salvation,

2 Timothy 2:15
15 Be diligent to present yourself
approved to God as a workman who
does not need to be ashamed,
accurately handling theword of truth.
PRAYER

Romans 12:12
12 rejoicing in hope, persevering in
tribulation, devoted to prayer,

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18
17 pray without ceasing;
18 in everything give thanks; for this is
Gods will for you in Christ Jesus.

WORSHIP

Assemble

Hebrews 10:24-25
24 and let us consider how to stimulate
one another to love and good
deeds,
25 not forsaking our own assembling
together, as is the habit of some,
but encouraging one another; and
all the more as you see the day
drawing near.
WORSHIP

Worship in Spirit and in Truth

John 4:23
23 But an hour is coming, and
now is, when the true
worshipers will worship the
Father in spirit and truth; for
such people the Father seeks
to be His worshipers.

SERVE
Serve Others
Matthew 22:36-40
36 Teacher, which is the great
commandment in the Law?
37 And He said to him, You shall love the
Lord your God with all your heart, and
with all your soul, and with all your
mind.
38 This is the great and foremost
commandment.
39 The second is like it, You shall
love your neighbor as
yourself.
40 On these two commandments
depend the whole Law and the
Prophets.
SERVE
Teach Others

1 Timothy 4:12
12 Let no one look down on your
youthfulness, but rather in speech,
conduct, love, faith and purity, show
yourself an example of those who
believe.
2 Timothy 2:2
2 The things which you have heard
from me in the presence of many
witnesses, entrust these to
faithful men who will be able to
teach others also.
Summary
God provides all blessings in Christ
Earthly provisions, spiritual protection,
and hope of eternal life
A believer can lose these blessings in
unbelief and fall from grace.
To remain in Gods grace the Christian
must live a pure life and grow in Christ.
He must also assemble with others and
teach by word and example.
