CASTING CONSIDERATION

During the filming process, my group and I had to

take into account the personas and physical image
of our actors, in order for our vision of the final
production to be a success. When focusing on
potential candidates for our movie, we had to take
into account a range of aspects, not only
performance capability wise, but physical
appearance in relation to our movie also.
KEVIN LEROY: ANTAGONIST

When considering the role of Kevin

Leroy, we wanted an actor who
resembled the most dominant
antagonist in the purge. This is
because, this actor had a subtle charm
in his persona, whilst exemplifying a
sense of malice, due to his ominous,
thin eyes and devilish smile. When
considering Erlandas Barkauskas, for
the role, he instantly was the physical
perfection for the role and his acting
skills aided this too.
EMILY WILSON: PROTAGONIST

For the role of Emily Wilson, we wanted

an actress who exemplified, an attractive
young teenager of any race. This is
because we wanted to epitomize her
vulnerability and how one of the masked
figures has a lust for her.
ALFONSO BIANCHI: ANTAGONIST

When exploring the role of Alfonso, we

wanted a young, teenage male, whos
physicality differed from the other
antagonist. Mehdadul Kazi was suitable
for the role, because his physicality
juxtaposed the actor of Kevin Leory.
