REFORM
Set national minimum wage
In 1989, RA 6727 regionalized minimum wage setting through the Regional
Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards, which are quasi-legislative tripartite
bodies composed of the DOLE Regional Director as Chairperson, NEDA and DTI
Regional Directors as Vice Chairs, and two (2) members each representing labor
and employers sectors)

Increase and expand coverage of tax exemption


Regulate prices of basic commodities
Amend the Consumer Act and Price Act
