W hat is shot-reverse-shot?

Shot-reverse-shot is a technique
where one character is seen to be
looking at another character (off-
screen) and that other character is
shown looking back at the previous
character. This is an example of
continuity editing and link with the
180 degree rule to preserve
continuity by not interfering with the
audiences sense of location of the
character in the shot.
