User Pausing Function
Service Description
The SIM card unpaid statuses of ZXUN USPP include
the following conditions.

Unpaid: all outgoing and incoming calls are barred.

Unpaid (Barring of Outgoing Calls): only outgoing calls are
barred.

Unpaid (Barring of Incoming Calls): only incoming calls are
barred.
The latter two statuses enable the operator to bar the
subscriber unidirectionally. When the subscriber has unpaid
bills, the ODB data is modified; when the bills are paid, the
ODB data can be restored.

means, the PLMN network operator determines the
service capability of users accessing the wireless
network. The ODB can only be controlled by the
operator, and it is activated immediately after
subscription.
Customized ODB services includes following:

PLMN_ODB: customized ODB services that can be configured
by the operator.

TOLL: For details, refer to Toll Function in this manual.

OSB: For details, refer to OSB Function in this manual.

IP: For details, refer to IP Function in this manual.

TOLL Service Function
Service Description
The protocol enables four kinds of custom ODB services provided
for the carriers. The carriers can realize specific ODB function in
HPLMN. At present, the known specific ODB applications are TOLL
(preferential local call) service, IP authorization service and OSB
services.
The ODB service allows the operator to prohibit TOLL
(preferential local call) subscribers from making toll calls or
roaming out of the local zone, or allow them to roam out of
the local zone but prohibit them from make toll calls.

corresponding to four kinds of PLMN custom
ODB services.

The subscriber can provision or de-provision four OSB services
through the service handling interface.

The subscribers can query, modify, delete or add the call
numbers, to which every kind of OSB corresponds.

OSB needs to be inserted into VLR.

When the subscribers who have subscribed for the OSB
serivciesapply for Call Forwarding, if the list of OSB call
numbers isset to list of allowed call numbers, and the number
prefix of theforwarded-to number is as same as one of the OSB
numbers,the CF registration will succeed.

USSD Function
Service Description
USSD provides a universal mechanism that is irrelevant
to specific services and supports the random expansion
of supplementary services. To be specific, USSD
provides a mechanism to transmit information (such as
strings) between mobile phones and entities in the GSM
network (MSC, VLR, HLR, scmSCF, etc.). It does not
care about information contents, which are determined
by senders and recognized and processed by receivers.
The GSM standards of the USSD include three phases:
Phase 1,Phase 2 and Phase 2+

so as to decide whether this subscriber can activate
those available forwarded-to numbers. When the
current data change, the forwarding data are
synchronized to the VLR.
The capacity of a forwarding white-black list control
table reaches 10240. The maximum length of the

Multi SIM Function
Service Description
Each Multi-SIM group contains 1-5 SIMs, with the MSISDN
of one SIM as the primary number.
The primary number is the common MSISDN of other SIMs,
while other SIMs have their own MSISDNs.
Each SIM in the Multi-SIM group can register its own
Subscriber information.
Any SIM in the Multi-SIM group can set itself as "on-duty".
After one SIM is set on duty, the voice calls and short
messages of the primary number shall be forwarded
unconditionally to the MSISDN of the on-duty SIM.
Multi SIM Function
In the local network, when any SIM in the Multi-SIM
group inserts common MSISDN and own MSISDN to
the VLR, the MO number displayed is the common
MSISDN while both the common
MSISDN and the own MSISDN can be the MT number.
After the Multi-SIM MS roams out of the local network,
only
the own MSISDNs of each SIM are inserted into the
VLR.

differentiate three-party calls from six-party calls, which
may result in intended illegal use of six-party calls by some
subscribers, thus causing loss to the operator.
ZXUN USPP can register three-party calls or six-party
calls, which are different in the data inserted into the VLR.
Both insert supplementary service 0x51(multiPTY) to the
VLR, only that three-party calls also insert the extended
field for the service.
