PMI-PBA (INTRODUCTION)

Introduction

Business Analysis is the process of evaluation of an


organization's needs which is identified and manages
the requirements to derive a solution by working with
stakeholders to identify organization's requirements.
The business analyst act as facilitator within an
organization where they bridge between stakeholders
and organization. PMI-PBA certification is designed
for Management Consultants, Systems Analysts,
Enterprise Analysts and Business Analysts.

growing topic which is reflected in marketplace.
Management practitioners embrace business analysis as a
technique to determine business needs, managing
requirements and offering best solution for business
problems/issues.

PMI-PBA provides high-level credibility for management


practitioners having experience on projects, business
analysis objectives, tools and techniques. Business analysis is
a key role to define organizations need and project objective.

Candidates should have secondary degree with global equivalent


Should have 35 hours of education in business analysis

PBA Exam
The PMI-PBA exam is consists of 200 multiple
choice questions. Among 200 questions,25 are
considered as pre-test questions. These pre-test
questions don't affect the score of examination to
test the validity of the question.
PMI provides three times to retake the exam within
one-year, if you don't pass in first attempt. When
candidates do not attend exam within one year, PMI
refund the amount paid for the examination.

Exam Fees and Re-Certification


Candidate has to pay $70 as examination fee for attending
PMI-PBA examination to ensure the appointment of PBA
exam. If you fail in first attempt in PBA exam, PMI permits to
take three times within one year.
PMI-PBA professionals have to participate in Continuing
Certification Requirements (CCR) to maintain active status
among the group which lasts for three years. Professional has
to clear not less than 60professional development units for
up-gradations.After completing PDUs, you need to upgrade
three years once, this is where the cycle begins for CCR
program
