HOW DOES MEDIA AFFECT OUR SLEEP?
First the bright television screen, computer screen, and or mobile device screen
decreases melatonin that leads to a delay in falling asleep and a disruption in
sleep. A majority of these devices emit a blue light which also disrupts sleep.
Lastly media use has been linked to violent and sexual content that leads to
increased stimulation causes difficulty falling asleep or poor sleep quality.
