Self propelled modular trailer (SPMT) is a platform

Vehicle with a large array of wheel on the bottom

and powerful horizontal engine mounted in the front

They are used for the transporting of massive

objects such as bridge , oil refining equipment,

huge motor, large bridge section, and other object

that are too big and heavy for trucks.

A typical self propelled truck can controlled

wheel all individual controllable, in order to

evenly distribute weight and steer

accurately, each individual wheel can swivel

independently from other wheel.

CAPABILITIES
SPMT are equipped with an hydraulic jack system,

this system keeps the trailer deck horizontal while

driving on slope and unevenness in the road.

One major advantage of SPMT is the great

maneuverability of the trailer. The trailer

combination can drive forward, backward, sideway,

diagonal and can even rotate on the spot

Another advantage is the modular construction

capability, each module can be connected to

each other by means of couple block or

connected straight behind each other. The

module can also be place underneath an object

unconnected to each other.

LOADING WITH SPMT
Loading the item by means of the hydraulic
suspension is
one big advantage of the SPMTs. During driving
the trailer deck has an height of 1500mm. This
deck can be lowered
or lifted 300mm . To lift an item on top of the
trailer deck
by means of the hydraulic suspensions system the
following procedure is followed.
