MY HERITAGE
 Where do I come from??
My great grandparents on my mothers fathers side were
each part of a family that immigrated from italy.
My 2x great grandfather on my maternal grandmothers side
immigrated from Germany. He was dropped off at a German
orphanage, thus we dont know much about that part of the
family before him.
He was very stern, and ran a very stern corporal punishment
household. Became softer in his later years.
Paternal relations were scarcely talked about: I know someone
on my grandfathers side immigrated from Germany, my
grandmother, was born and raised in Augusta Georgia, in the
era of prohibition, to a family that illegally ran shine.

Italian Culture
Religion: 90% Roman Catholic; the Vatican city, where the pope resides, is located
in the heart of Rome.
Social gatherings are more like celebrations
Contributions:
-archetecture : the colosseum, leaning tower of Pisa; it also includes styles such
as renessaince and Gothic.
-fashion: houses like Armani, Gucci, Versace, and Prada. (Milan)
-art can be seen everywhere, like churches and public buildings, but most
notably the Sistene Chapel.
Food: what we know as italian food is generally southern and central Italy
(Rome/Naples), N. Italy is more like potatoes and rice and fish and sausage.
Holidays: christmas and easter, Liberation Day (Apr. 25th), San Generous Fest (Sept
19th)
Literature: Pepe the lamp lighter. (Childrens book)
 What am I?
Im basically a mutt.
German, Irish, English, but the one we talk about the most is
Italian.
my mother is 50% Italian and a large chunk of German.
My father is everything else.
 Personal Culture.

Was born on October 22nd 1992; on the cusp of libra and Scorpio

Youngest of 3 kids

My mom is a hairdresser, as was her mother, as was her mother

My dad was a truck driver. PDR

 Military History
My paternal grandfather served in the Airforce during WWII and Korea. (while it was
still just the Army Air Corps)

My cousin was a Marine

My brother was in the Army Infantry.

My maternal great-great grandfather was accidentally drafted to the Italian army

during WWI, also my great-grandfather on her mothers side

Material great-uncle was drafted to the Army in Vietnam.

BELIEFS
 Religious Views
Christian.
Didnt grow up with religion, (yet being Italian I still manage to
receive some of that Catholic guilt everyone talks about.)
I believe there is more out there than what we can fathom
and that religion tells you what happens while science explains
how it happened.

 CRITICAL
EXPERIENCES
 There was only one
My fathers name was John Edward Hagan
Jr., he was born in march of 1957.
He is the reason I am who I am.
He showed me, in the way he loved my
mother, what it should look like when a
man truly loves someone.
He taught me what good music was.
Most importantly, he (Along with my
mother) made sure I knew I was loved.
He died the afternoon of April 29th 2014,
on his way home from work. I was the first
to know.
