Informatons from SPT data:
The ground water table is at 12.51 m.
We assume the borehole diameter is between
65-115 mm and CB=1.00
We have undisturbed samples from the soil for
different portions CS=1.00
Corresponding rod length correction factor
CR=1.00.
Lastly; the test handled with double turns on
cathead donut hammer and its efficiency is
=0.45 and we should correct it.

Schmertmanns settlement equation;
 CONCLUSION
The two methods gives approximately the
same result.

Schmertmann can be more realistic because

of the continuous data available from CPT

The settlements are not much for the

structure.
