Social Groups and Institution Distribution


Social Groups

My product represents social groups by being


a magazine that relates to social group
classes D and mostly E. This is because a lot
of the audience that read this will be
students, and also lower class workers who
are obviously into indie music. The majority of
the audience will be younger so probably
wont have a higher class because of their
age. They will be fans of the music who could
possibly be tweenagers.
Institution Distribution

A company that would distribute my product


would be a media institution that makes
music magazines, for example Bauer Media
group. They would distribute my media as it
is a magazine similar to ones they make
however it is something different and original
as it has a specific indie; edge to it.
My magazine would be published in stores
like HMV and local newsagents around the
country. This is because it is a popular outlet
to sell magazines as there is a wide range,
and especially HMV as it is very media
orientated including music so there will be a
lot of music fans who go into the store to buy
the product.
