Chinese Idiom

Brandon Sun

Tnhuyxin
LM: Appear, Flower, One, Moment
AM: Something that appears and disappears quickly (or
something that is born and dies quickly)
Story
This idiom is based upon a certain flower called the broad-leaved epiphyllum, a white
flower that the Chinese adored. However, it blooms only for a short period of time at night
before closing its petals.

Similar to the flower, it describes things which are beautiful but short-lived.
