be very informative and useful for all of us. Well, now we have

move on to the next part about factors that cause heart disease
that will be presented by Japiwinata.
Japi,time is yours
18
Factors that Cause Heart Disease
19
JAPIWINATA (160600099) :
1. Age 7. High blood cholesterol
2. Sex levels
4. Smoking 9. Obesity
Nur Azizah : Thank you for Japiwinata. That was a very nice explanation. What I
find most interesting about is stress also can be one of the factors. So now on I
should be happy all the time.
Ralph : Wait, dont happy too much right now because we havent reach the end
of this topic, it wouldnt be complete if we stop in the factors.
Ralph : well lets look now on preventions of heart disease, this last section will be
presented by Sheila. Sheila, time and place is yours.
Sheila : Thank you for moderators, right then weve come to the last section and
finally, I Shall raise briefly the issue of preventions of heart disease. Okay, let me
start

SHEILA INDRISAVIRA 1. Take responsibility for your health.
second-hand smoke.
lipids).
9. Reduce stress.
Ralph : Thank you Sheila for the explanation. Now its complete and we just
reach the end of our results discussion sessions. So what do you think Azizah
?
Azizah : You are right Ralph. Now I can be more happier and the thing to
remember is we have to Take responsibility for our health.
Ralph : Yes, you are right, and as we know Not to break is better than to
mend.
Veshan : Thank you for Mutia, its an interesting questions, as we saw earlier in
the factors and prevention, okay the question will be answered by Aisyah Noer
Aisyah Noer : Alright my name is Aisyah Noer,I will try to answer it,so related to
stop smoking as one of the preventive way If you are able to stop smoking,
your risk of a heart attack or stroke decreases within a few weeks. The risk
goes down to that of a nonsmoker within about 2 years. In addition, a lot of
patients comment that they feel healthier and have more energy after
they've stopped smoking.
Kishendran : Thank you for Hendro, now Ill give the best explanation to
answer it as it said earlier that family history is one of the factors. There
is an increase in the risk of heart attack if a first-degree relative (parent
or sibling) has had a heart attack or stroke. That is mainly seen when
the relative has had a heart attack before the age of 45 if they are
male, 55 if they are female. Obviously, you cannot change your family
history, but a positive history should suggest the need to improve all
the other risk factors like stopping smoking and decreasing cholesterol.
Amira Pasha : Right then I will try to answer about the changes that I
recommend, so I would suggest a diet that is balanced among all
the main food groups, with fat content making up no more than 30
percent of calories and most of that fat being unsaturated. I would
not advise patients to eat a diet that is restricted in carbohydrates
or fruits and vegetables, because this may adversely affect vitamin
intake and blood cholesterol.
Erlin : Thanks for your question, I will try to answer it. Being overweight can
increase the risk of heart disease in several ways. There can be a ten-fold
increase in risks of high blood pressure and diabetes. In addition, being
overweight will decrease the HDL or "good" cholesterol, which is now
recognized as a major risk factor. If you are overweight, it is important to
diet and exercise in order to lose weight and reduce these risk factors.
Brandon : Thank you for the question and for moderator,Ill try to give the best
answer so Heart disease can manifest as chest pain, tightness or
discomfort. Sometimes even shortness of breath can be a symptom of a
heart attack. Any unusual restriction in your activity could be a warning
sign of heart disease. Dizziness or a fast or irregular heart beat is another
symptom.
Nina : Yes it is, thank you for moderator and Brandon for the
answer.
Ralph : So my friends ,we are at final stage of the game now. The
key of success to avoid heart disease is we must take
responbility of our health, avoid use orconsume that can harm
your heart like smoking and drinking alcohol.
