Aim of this presentation is to provide basic
information on responsibilities of fabrication
welding engineer.

Summary
WE is in charge of all aspects of welding in the yard
such as:
All procedures related to welding
Choosing filler metal and estimation of quantities
Preparing WPQR, attending qualification tests
Preparing WPS
In charge of preparing technical queries to the
client, deviation and concession request

Summary
Identifying technical problems regarding
welding and provide technical solution
accordingly
In charge of welder/operator qualification
With quality department, review and propose
corrective action for non conformities
During bidding phase, giving support and
information for quotation
