Dual Language Immersion is a unique educational model
where children learn to think, read, write and communicate naturally in two languages: English and Spanish. Native Spanish and native
English speaking students study together, beginning in
transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten, in this intensive TK-5 program, to be biliterate in both languages.
The key to success is the long-term commitment. Students
must start the program in TK-Kindergarten, where 90% of instruction and academic subjects are taught in Spanish and 10% in English. By 4th -5th grades, 50% of instruction is in Spanish and 50% in English. WHAT ARE THE PROGRAM GOALS?

learning happens in every moment. TK PROGRAM REQUIREMETS -Ifyour Child is turning (5) five years old between September 2 and December 2, 2015. He/She will be eligible for a Transitional Kindergarten program.

I am 100% in disapproval of this program Conclusion Parents are realizing that their choices have been taken away from them based on somebody elses developmental theory on what month their child was born in. Parents are being forced to enrolled in a program that they are not requesting and are very dissapointed about it. Conclusion (Cont.) They are gathering to take this issue to the board of Education as they feel their rights have been taken away from them affirming that they live in the U.S. where English should be the number 1 priority and main language. The students should have a 90% instruction in the English language and 10% in Spanish or any other foreign language.
