Indonesian Medical Council
IMC (KKI) is an independent, autonomic, non
structural board and consist of medical council
and dentist council.
Indonesian Medical Collegiums is a medical board
build by medical profession of each branch of
science discipline
Certificate of competence is a certificate of
doctors about their competency in medical
practicing
Registration is a formal register for doctors who
had their certificate of competence and had an
authority to done their profession.
 Registration certificate of doctor is formal
certificate give by IMC to doctors who had been
registered.
Practice license is a formal certificate give by
government to the doctors who want to have their
medical practice after completing the rule for it.
MKDK (Majelis Kehormatan Disipline Kedokteran
= Honnorrary Board for Medical Discipline) is a
board which have an autority to decided there is or
not mistake done by doctors on applying medical
science and decided the sanction.
Authority of IMC
Education Standard for medical profession ratify by IMC
and written together by the Association of medical
education institution and Association of Teaching
Hospital for S1, and by medical collegium for S2 and
specialist
IMC have an authority
1. To receive or refuse requested registration
2. To give and cut-off certificate of registration
3. To ratify standard competency of medical education
4. To supervise the application of medical profession ethic
5. Evaluate prerequisite registration
6. Make a note to the doctors who had give sanction
7. To ratify application of new branch of medical science.
 IMC have 3 division
1.Registration division
2.Standard of medical education division
3.Supervision division.
IMC members 17 :
2 from medical proffesion, 2 from dentist
proffession, 1 each from assosiation
medical/dentist institution, 1 each from doctor
and dentist collegium, 2 from teaching hospital, 3
from society leader, 2 from Health Deperttment,
and 2 from department of education
Medical license
After got certificate of registration, doctors can request
medical license to local government cq District health
office completing with:
1. doctor certificate
2. valid certificate of registration
3. recommendation from district MDA
4. Localization of medical practice
Maximal 3 places for one doctor
Apa yang harus dilakukan untuk
dapat praktek.
1. registrasi ke KKI
Perlengkapan registrasi: ijasah dokter, sertifikat kompetensi,
sumpah dokter,bersedia mentaati etika dan sumpah dokter,
surat ket sehat mantal/fisik,uang registrasi.pas foto 7 lbr (2x3
dan 4x6)
keluar sertifikat registrasi dari KKI. Berlaku 5 tahun
2. Mencari izin praktek ke Bupati/walikota tempat praktek:
1.sertifikat registrasi
2.rekomendasi IDI setempat
3.punya tempat praktek
setelah ditinjau IDI dan Dinas Kes Tk II keluar IZIN PRAKTEK
MKDK

TUGAS MENGAWASI PELAKSANAAN PRAKTEK
DOKTER DAN SUMPAH DAN ETIKA KEDOKTERAN.
