(ROM)
is one of some nursing interventions
(Mobility 1)
Base Competence : Once students
have completed this topic, theyll be
able to give instructions and requests
to patient.
IMPERATIVE FORM (ASK SOMEONE TO
DO SOMETHING)
Imperative Sentences are used to give
commands, make polite requests, and give
directions.
The difference between a command and a
request lies in the speakers tone of voice and
the use of please.
Please can come at the beginning or end of
request, for example :

Pattern of Imperative
The simple form of a verb (verb I) is used
in imperative sentences.
The understood subject of the sentence is
you (meaning the person the speaker is
talking to), for example :
- (You) look upward.
Negative Form :
- Dont + the simple form of a verb(verb I)
