 Mukesh Ambani is an Indian Business tycoon
and the Chairman & MD of Reliance Industries
Limited (RIL), the largest privately owned
company in India.
He is ranked among the richest persons in
India and around the world and is one the most
powerful personalities.
He is an icon for budding entrepreneurs in
India.
He has often hogged headlines for his lavish
lifestyle and diversification into other
industries.
 He was born on 19th April,1957 in Aden,
Yemen to Dhirubhai Ambani & Kokilaben
Ambani.
He has two sisters : Dipti Salgooncar &
Nina Kothri and a younger bother : Anil
Ambani.
His father used to work in a firm in Yemen
before moving to Mumbai in 1958.
He started a business and later diversified
into the textiles business and turned into
one of Indias largest business magnetes.
 He attended the Hill Grange High
School at Peddar Road, Mumbai.
He obtained a BE degree in
Chemical Engineering from Institute
of Chemical Technology at Matunga.
He started pursuing his MBA from
Stanford University but had to
discontinue to assist his father in
family company, Reliance, which was
growing fast at that time.
 He played a pivotal role in growing the
business legacy and diversifies the
company in various sectors like
petroleum refining, gas exploration and
communication sector.
However, he has had tough times too.
His rifle with his brother had hogged
headlines after the death of their father.
He was also accused of gas shortfall
production.
However he has had an illustrious career.
 He is married to Nita Ambani and have
two sons : Akash and Anant Ambani and
a daughter : Isha Ambani.
The family lives a 27-storey private
residential building named Antilla which
is the most expensive residential building
ever building (valued at $1 billion).
