Seismic is the initial process stage in oil and industries in starting up a project.

produce detailed images of the various rock types and their location beneath the Earth's surface which helpful to
know the presence of a sand tomb that gives off with existence of any gas, oil or condensates (water)

As a form of raw data that needs further appraisal to make it feasible or the area to be viable for a project to be
conducted.

 Appraisal/Evaluation report of Seismic Data

From the raw data of seismic, a further analysis of data is

conducted by appraisal or evaluation process of Sea Surface
quantification on the selected area.

This is as such to give a rough estimation of the oil, gas, 100 m (10 bar)

condensate and fine sand amount and to identify the

i. 10 meter depth of water = 1 bar pressure
ii. Always estimate in higher maximum range Formation Pressure
iii. Unit for quantification for Gas in SCF (standard (in range e.g. 98-300 psi)
cubic feet,ft3 )/day and Oil in bbl (barrel) /day

Drawback in this process it can only give an estimated or Sand Tomb (contain gas ,oil ,fine sand
,condensate etc.)
predictive depletion rate of oil and gas in the long run.
