SAFE USE OF ATM CARDS
ATMs
Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) have made
our lives easier. If you forgot to go to the credit
union before closing time to get money, no
problem. Just zip into one of the ATMs and
access the money in your account day or night.
But wherever youre , be aware of your
surroundings and use safety precautions when
using an ATM card.
PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE USE OF ATM CARDS
ATM PRECAUTIONS
Be aware that someone could rob you at or
near the ATM.
Be aware of other persons near you and the
ATM.
If the lighting at the ATM is not working go to
another ATM.
Have your ATM card ready before arriving at
the machine.
If you notice suspicious activity, cancel your
transaction, take your card, and leave the
area.
ATM PRECAUTIONS

During hours of darkness,


have someone come with you
to the ATM.
Park your car in a well-lighted
area and near the ATM.
Quickly put your money and
ATM card away. Count your
money later.
If followed after a transaction,
go to the nearest public area.

SAFETY INSTRUCTION FOR
OPERATION FROM
DISPERSED LOCATIONS
1. While operating from dispersed locations there
is a likely hood of snakes, scorpions or some other
insects and reptiles finding access into the aircraft.
The insects and reptiles could also get inside the
helmets, flying clothing and other safety
equipment, if these are left near the aircraft in the
open or inside the tents or places where normal
precautions cannot be exercised. Possibilities of
such incidents increase during summer,
particularly during the rainy season.

2. Following preventive measures are to be taken
by the aircrew while operating from dispersed
locations: -
(a) The aircraft doors and windows are to remain
close at all times except when required.
(b) The in-take dust excluders should always be
'ON' unless the work on these parts necessitates
their removal.
(c) Aircrew are not to leave their helmets and flying
clothing at unsafe places. They are to inspect them
thoroughly before using them.

CTHS AND APR SELECTION
PROCEDURE
Before take off roll, CTHS and APR is to be
selected ON by the co pilot for static take off.

In case of take off is made by the Co-pilot,


CTHS and APR should be selected ON by the
Flt Engr as pilot on the LH side is having nose
wheel steering control.
