Smallest starting configuration with 2 modules:

- System Module (ESMB/ESMC)
- RF Module (RFM/RRH)
System Modules are GSM/EDGE compliant, and RF Module can be shared with
WCDMA/LTE in concurrent mode.

There are two variants 2nd generation Flexi System Module The difference is in the
capacity of integrated baseband processing:
ESMB - up to 18 carriers (TRXs) capacity (TRX IDs: 1 .. 18)
ESMC - up to 36 carriers (TRXs) capacity (TRX IDs: 1 .. 36)

Smallest starting configuration with 2 modules:

- System Module (FSMF)
- RF Module (RFM/RRH)
System Modules are GSM/EDGE compliant, and RF Module can be shared with
WCDMA/LTE in concurrent mode.

There are only one variant of the 3rd generation Flexi System Module:
FSMF - up to 36 carriers (TRXs) capacity (TRX IDs: 1 .. 36)

RF Module (FXxx) consist of 3 independent branches (pipes), which is optimized

for 3 sector Macro BTS use.
RFM is a single band module. Separate FXxx modules for each frequency band are
supported by Flexi Multiradio BTS.
Each branch (pipe) contains:
The transmitter and receiver chains and the front end, software tunable filters.
Two receive chains to provide 2-way receive diversity.
OBSAI connectivity.
transmitter and receiver is capable to carry up to 6 carriers (TRXs).

RF Modules (Flexi Radio Modules FRMs) FXED

RFM is optimized for 3 sector Macro BTS use (the module consists of 6
independent branches (pipes))
Each branch (pipe) can transmit and receive multicarrier signals of multiple radio
technologies concurrently
RFM is a single band module
This feature supports the new radio frequency module FXED that is optimized for
GSM/LTE RF Sharing in the 1800 band

Supports MIMO with SW upgrade
