Results
What did the survey show in terms of
accessibility?

The survey showed that 31 people have access to the internet. In other
words the majority of the people that managed to answer the survey have
access to the internet.
It also showed that no one is not able to access the internet.
Did all students surveyed have access
to the Internet outside of campus?

Almost all students have access to the internet outside of campus,


students use their personal data in order to access the internet.
Some students have the privilege of having WiFi at home which is unlimited
so that makes them to access the internet at any given time.
Some other students depend on public WiFi, for example in Pretoria there
is Tshwane Wifi which can be accessed only on certain places around
Pretoria.
If so, what was the most common
means of access?

The most common use for the internet is research people spend most of
the time on the internet for research purposes.
12 of the people use the internet for social media, while 14 use it for
research and the rest of the 5 people use it for communication wise.
Did socio-economic factors play a
role in your findings?

Yes socio-economic did have factors that played in people accessing the
internet.
Some students do have access into the internet in their homes and
campuses while other students have to reply on internet that is available in
public.
Like some of us have to be in school in order to have full access to the
internet by using the school WiFi.
Did everyone have the same level of
skill in using technology?

Almost everyone have smartphones which means it easy to access the


internet as long as they have mobile data in their cell phones.
Some students have personal laptops and computers that makes them to
access the internet very easily.
Not everyone have the same level of using the as some thought that the
internet should improve.
It should improve in loading information in a more quick way.
