A CLINICAL

PSYCHOLOGY
AND
A YOGA CENTRE

COME WITH A
PROBLEM ,
GO WITH A
MOTIVE
My motive is to provide people with a solution or a path towards a
solution for their problems related to life, their behavior and mental
health.
Today, in this 21st century , people face different type of problems
related to work , life and most importantly problems which make
them suffer from inside without knowing what is happening to them
and how to deal with their problems.
Our job is to make people realize that they are not alone and they
are strong enough to fight against these problems. We help people
who suffer from bipolar depression, suicidal thoughts, negativity and
many other types of mental illness.
We focus on the person ability to communicate about their feelings
and meditation sessions for their recovery.
According to Newstrom & Keith Davis said, Communication is
the transfer of information form one person to another. It is a way
of reaching others by transmitting ideas, feelings, thoughts, facts and
values.

the treatment needed and the number of

On completion of these sessions with a

progress and may choose to authorise a
further set of sessions, although only 15 may
be claimable in one calendar year.

FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS
I really dont need much start-up capital as I'm
planning to do an in-house practice and only need
to plan to furnish it into a clinic and separate hall
for yoga classes.
I need to invest on whole about 80k which
includes:
Hiring a receptionist
A yoga trainer
Furniture ( 10 chairs , 5 tables , yoga mates, music
system, )
Ill will be taking 30,000 from my cash-in-hand and
50,000 from bank as a bank loan on the guarantee
basis.
FINANCIAL ASSUMPTIONS
I would be charging 100/- Rupees as my
consultation fee from my patients in which I
would be suggesting ways in which a person
needs to be counselled and discovering their
problem, and how many sessions will be the
person be requiring for providing best
possible solution for the same.
The yoga sessions will be open for everyone
for regular classes from Monday to Saturday
by charging 1000/- per person of any age-
group.
As the location of my centre being a
commercial area has rarely seen a counselling
centre with yoga classes, so people living
nearby would find easy to avail these services
for the yoga classes and this will help in
increasing profits for my business.
Im expecting 20 people per month per
category in which 5 are expected to be the
patients of counselling sessions which are
given 2 classes free and then charged
according as shown in the schedule.
151000 + 5 600 = 15000 + 3000
= 18000 per category
So, In one month we can make 36000/-
rupees.
Now, I'm expecting 20 persons per day
for consultation.
Therefore, 10020 = 2,000/- per day
In one month I'm expecting 10 people
taking sessions for their treatment.
Therefore, 1000010 = 1,00,000/-
Total income in one month
= 36,000 + 24,000 + 1,00,000
= 1,60,000/-
STATUS OF MENTAL
ILLNESS
At least 60 million Indiansa number more than the
population of South Africasuffer from mental
disorders, even as the country lags the world in
medical professionals and spending on mental-health
issues.
Nearly 10-20 million (1-2% of the population) Indians
suffered from severe mental disorders such as
schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and nearly 50
million (5% of population) suffered from common
mental disorders like depression and anxiety at the
end of 2005, health and family welfare minister JP
Nadda informed the Lok Sabha (lower house of
Parliament) in May 2016, quoting data from National
Commission on Macroeconomics and Health, 2005,
the last report available.
India spends 0.06% of its health budget on
mental healthcare. This is less than
Bangladesh (0.44%). Most developed
nations spend above 4% of their budgets
on mental-health research, infrastructure,
frameworks and talent pool, according to
this 2011 World Health Organization
(WHO) report.
While the central government does not
maintain any dataset on mental patients
since health is a state subject, it does have
data on patients in three central
institutions:
Increasing Patients With Mental Disorders
National Institute of Mental Health &
Neuro Sciences, Bangalore
Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi
Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional
Institute of Mental Health, Tezpur, Assam
Another data set that captures the level of mental
illness are the suicides that result. While suicides
caused from insanity declined from 7% in 2010 to 5.4%
in 2014, more than 7,000 people killed themselves due
to mental disorders.
There are 3,800 psychiatrists, 898 clinical
psychologists, 850 psychiatric social workers and
1,500 psychiatric nurses nationwide, according to
a reply by the ministry of health and family welfare
in the Lok Sabha in December 2015.
This means there were three psychiatrists per
million people, according to data from WHO, 18
times fewer than the commonwealth norm of 5.6
psychiatrists per 100,000 people.
By this estimate, India is short of 66,200
psychiatrists.
Similarly, based on the global average of 21.7
psychiatric nurses per 100,000 people, India needs
269,750 nurses.
GROWTH TRENDS

services is growing as the complexities of
human behavior is increasing and also the
problems related to these changes due to
the changing environment. This service is
an important element for leading a good
life which will help a person to deal with
their problems with ease.

and changes in their behavior and life
having different thoughts and feelings. This
age-group needs a lot of attention and
care so that they do not take any wrong
decision in their life. Also my yoga classes
will encourage our youth and adults to
overcome their problems.

through regular sessions. Treatment
according to a person's problem will help
me engage with my clients and will create
a unique and effective way in getting a
premium from my clients.
