Course Description

This subject covers the nature and

elements of communication, its basic
dimensions and concepts of human
communicative interaction and behavior. It
focuses mainly on enhancing interpersonal
communication, one of the 21st century
skills.
Essential Understanding

Learners knowledge and skills in oral

communication in context helps him/her
express himself/herself appropriately and
correctly in various situations.
Learner/Speakers awareness of socio-
cultural dimension of communication
lessens communication breakdown.
