Multi-media Authoring can be defined as a tool/software that can be used to manipulate and control a media platform. Using this method
can provide the outline framework of editing and organizing the project that youre working in. Authoring software can provide an
imbedded and complex environment for putting the functions and the context of the project together. This method of authoring enables
the user to combine audio, text, graphics, animation and video into an interactive media project. Authoring systems include tools to edit,
convert, create and publish the elements produced in the software. The design, organization and production process for multi-media
involves recording the data you produce in a flowchart od storyboard. The flow charts can be produced visually in the software or at a
macro level to produce an overview space to illustrate a whole visual structure for the project.. Here are some of the basic features
included while using authoring tools:

Rate of Production
The production of a multi media project
depends on how quickly and efficiently it can be done. If a project is produced a long time
after the release date then the excitement for it will go down and less people would be
likely to buy it. However, some would say that this pause of unreleased will cause more
hype or excitement towards the eventual release but it is always better to produce a
product on the correct date. This will build customer confidence towards the company, this
means that the customer would be able to put trust into the organisation for delivering their
desired product on a correct date with minimal confusion.
Production Methods
When a company produces a project they will need to consider how they will perform it. For
example, when producing a video game, a company will need to consider: What software
theyll use, where they will plan and talk about it, who will be employed for the part, how it
will be produced and when it is due for release.
