Big Bazaar is a chain of department stores in
India currently with 120 outlets.
It is a subsidiary of Pantaloon Retail India Ltd,
Future Group.
The idea was pioneered by entrepreneur Mr.
Kishore Biyani, the CEO of Future Group.
Currently Big Bazaar stores are located only in
India.
Provides the best products at the best price.
 History
• Big Bazaar journey began in October 2001
• The country’s first hypermarket retail outlet
in Kolkatta .
• The name has changed before it was Future
Pantaloon Retail India Ltd.
• From 1st Jan 2010 it is named as Future
Value Retail India Ltd.
 Man Behind Big Bazaar
• Kishore Biyani is the Managing Director
of Pantaloon Retail (India) Limited and
Group Chief Executive Officer of Future
Group.
• Mr. Kishore has won following awards
