DID YOU KNOW…
• The South and West Asian region is valued for their low cost goods, services, and
skilled labour, but is also known for low wages and human trafficking (OHCH
Report, 2014).

• According to UNESCO’s yearly region overview, 89 of every 1,000 children born


in the region will not reach age 5.

• This region is rich in culture that is highly influenced by religion, tradition, myths,
and symbols.
Objectives for Term 3
