 WHY ‘PAINTHOME’?
It is said that the color you paint in your home can
affect your mood.

Bad choice of colors might lead to disappointment

in future.

‘PAINTHome’ is a mobile application that lets you

choose the right color for your home at the price
that you can afford.

• To provides information about dealers of various paint

companies along with their location in google map.

• To simplifies the problem regarding choice of the color, its

required amount and cost.

• To virtually paint the exterior and interior of your house at

reasonable price.

• Solves the dilemma that exists in people regarding colors for

painting their home.

• Let people to choose color from a dealer of a paint company

that is nearest to his/her location and at affordable price as well.

PROPOSED ANALYSIS METHODOLOGY
Edge Detection Algorithm:-
- comprises of:

1. Canny Edge Detection Method

-> Used to detect wide range of edges

2. Gabor Filter
-> Used for edge detection

Histogram with openCV for matching images.

 VALIDATION SCHEME
• Cross Validation Scheme:
- To estimate error of a trainable system like a classifier.

- Use k fold cross validation

- Method of data division matters less.

- Each data point gets to be in test set exactly once and

in training set k-1 times.

 PROPOSED OUTPUT
 Name and contact info of the dealers of different paint
companies along with their location in google map.

 Amount of chosen color required to paint home in liters and the

cost it would take.

 Virtual painting of the home with a color chosen from color

pallete by simple drag and drop on photograph taken in your
smart phone..

 Gallery to save the pictures you like.
