Charging of load had been done. The ship crossed Tanjung Batu Roro Sea and on that time,
The ship carried 244 person and the waves height at this sea were about 3 – 4 meters. The
total loads were 443 Ton ship began unstable that caused stern sank first

Ujung Port, Pare-Pare lead to 03° 05’ 20” on South Lat. and
Samarinda Port, East Borneo 118° 44’ 30” on East Lon.

Over Draft on the Ship

Sea Weather at Makassar

Strain was Bad
Based on information of BMKG, on that time the
condition of sea weather at Makassar Strait was
raining and the waves height were about 2,5 –
3,5 meters
Over draft on the ship was caused by loads were not
only stowed in hatch and the number of loads were
much.

Free Surface in the Hatch

Safety Appliances on the

Ship were Less Adequate Free surface in the hatch was caused by construction
There were not sign that directing passenger to of hatch square was not eligible. So, the waters entered
Muster Station into hatch through freeing port and bulwark as long as
the hull

Communication Safety on the Ship was

not Fitted at Where It Should Be

Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB)

was kept in bookcase and not found of EPIRB which be
fitted at where it should be
