HISTORY
• After the Second World War,
in 1947 the UN made a
resolution that divided
Palestine into two States,
one Zionist State and
another Arab.

• In May 1948, when the

war against the

massacred people.
• In the 1960, a boom of
Palestinian revolutionary
struggle emerges.

• In 1965, several guerrilla

religious) democratic
state.
• A peace treaty is signed in
1993, but the state of Israel
does not comply with it, as it
continues to build settlements
on Palestinian land.

• In 2000 Israel abandons the

peace process; Israel continues
building settlements, which are
protected by the army.
• In 2002, Israel began building a
400-mile-long fortified barrier
(with concrete walls, electrified
fences, sensors, razor wire,
trenches and watchtowers) in
West Bank. This wall isolates
many Palestinian people,
separates farmers from their
fields and steals more territories
from Palestinians.
