Mud in Drilling

In the deep drilling usually use mud

as a part of main component

The function of the mud on the drilling

process are :

- to keep the drilling bit slippery

- to keep drilling bit cool
- to prevent the blow out
- to carry out the cutting to the surface
- as media in wire line logging
