CHRONOLOGY

POTENTIAL ROOT CAUSE
• Start stop process too often
• Overload
• Degradation of Insulation
• There is no any indication of root cause from electrical system in
ciwandan, refer to attachment.
Actual Problem at Rotor of Electric Motor
• Insulation Resistance :
Phasa to Phasa short Circuit ( K- M ) : 0 ohm
• DC Resistance :
• Resistance Winding K1 – K2 : 15 miliohm
• Resistance Winding L1 – L2 : 23 miliohm
• Resistance Winding M1 – M2 : 25 miliohm
• Unbalance Resistance Winding : 7,14%
• In previous repair job 1st and 2nd time, Mesindo didnot carry out to
test Insulation Resistance phase to phase and DC Resistance test.
Action Plan
• For continuous diagnostic, need to open the end caps of rotor
winding to make a decision for option partial rewinding or total
rewinding. Will be confirm at 04.00 pm 15/08/2017 and make
repairing schedule.
• Cleaning rotor winding
• After repair job finish, electrical test will be carried out such as
megger, DC resistance and Hipot Test.
• Teco Engineer has conform that material and testing facility and
ability of Mesindo Workshop is available.
