2011 Prof. Prajapati Trivedi with the Gujarat Bhawan Resident

2010 – A postage stamp was issued by the Government of India to
honor Prof. Trivedi’s late mother, Smt. Kranti Trivedi, a renowned
writer with more than 45 books to her credit. Prof. Trivedi is in the
picture sitting left to her mother.
2012 – At the Ram Janam Bhumi, Ayodhya, UP, to celebrate

2004 – Prof. Prajapati Trivedi with the President of the World
Bank, Sir James Wolfensohn, on the occasion of completing ten
years of distinguished service at the World Bank.
Prof. Prajapati comes from of the most distinguished families of
India. The sacrifice of his family for the freedom movement is
legendary. It is the only family to have two members in the
Constituent Assembly that approved the Indian Constitution. Pt.
Ravishankar Shukla, three times Chief Minister of Madhya
Pradesh and his oldest son and Pt. Ambika Shukla both served in
the Constituent Assembly. A postage stamp in honour of Pandit
Ravi Shankar Shukla was issued by the Government of India.

This is the only family in India which has had four bothers and
father in the Parliament on their own merit. Following sons of
Pandit Ravishankar Shukla were Members of the Lok Sabha – Pt.
Ambika Charan Shukla, Pt. Bhagwati Charan Shukla, Pt. Shyama
Charan Shukla, and Pt. Vidya Charan Shukla.
2004 – Prof. Prajapati Trivedi with his uncle, Pt. Vidya Charan
Shukla, former minister for Defense, Home, Information and
Broadcasting, and External Affairs, who visited Washington
around 2004.
