HOLDS 900 PEOPLE

• WE WEREN’T QUITE SURE WHAT TO EXPECT SINCE THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE VERY VAGUE, BUT WHEN WE GOT THERE
THEY WANTED HELP WITH TASKS THAT THEY USUALLY DON’T GET TO COMPLETE
- FILLED THE PEWS WITH STATIONARY FOR THE NEXT SUNDAY’S SERMON
- PREPARED CARDS FOR THE CURRENT SERMON ON MIRACLES
- STOCKED FIRST AID KITS AROUND THE CHURCH
- ORGANIZED THE “NURSES” ROOM
- CLEANED WINDOWS IN THE NURSERY AND HALLWAY

• RELIEVED AN ELDERLY GROUP THAT VOLUNTEER WEEKLY TO STOCK


SANCTUARY

• ALL OF THE FIRST AID KITS WERE MISSING MANY SUPPLIES THAT SHOULD HAVE
BEEN INCLUDED

• THE “NURSES” ROOM HAD A BENCH FOR TREATMENT SERVICES AND A


STORAGE CLOSET WHICH HAD A FEW THINGS, BUT NOT NEARLY WHAT IT
SHOULD IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY

• WE MADE LISTS OF NEEDED SUPPLIES AND ORGANIZED THE FIRST AID KITS AS
MUCH AS WE COULD AND NOTED WHAT SUPPLIES NEEDED TO BE
REPLENISHED

• STRENGTHS UTILIZED:
• DAY CARE – CLEANED THE WINDOWS
• GROWING MEMBERSHIP OF CHURCH – STOCKED FIRST AID KITS/MADE SURE THERE WERE AN
APPROPRIATE AMOUNT
• DONATION SERVICES – STOCKED DONATION ENVELOPES

• CHURCH LEADER AND ELDERLY VOLUNTEER TEAM COMMUNICATING WHAT THEY ARE UNABLE TO DO

• OUR OBJECTIVES WERE MET BECAUSE WE WERE ABLE TO COMPLETE ALL TASKS ASSIGNED TO OUR
GROUP IN A TIMELY AND EFFICIENT MANNER

• ACTUAL EXPERIENCE:
• THE CHURCH COMMUNITY WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH OUR WORK, BECAUSE IT WAS THINGS THAT
ARE NOT NORMALLY GOTTEN TO DURING THE WEEK BUT WE WERE ABLE TO GET THESE TASKS
DONE

• WE WORKED AS A TEAM TO GET THE TASKS DONE THAT WERE ASSIGNED TO US IN A TIMELY
MANNER

• IF THERE WAS BETTER COMMUNICATION AMONG THE STAFF MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH WE MAY
HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET EVEN MORE DONE THAN WE DID

• TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE IS ON THE SAME PAGE ABOUT EXPECTATIONS AND ENSURE
